Student Senate
HPU's Senate, the legislative and oversight branch of SGA, where dedication drives change. As pioneers of campus progress, we prioritize student voices and enact impactful initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Executive Board and other campus partners, we foster unity and inspire innovation.
The Student Senate serves to advocate for their constituents in their respective college or campus. The roles and responsibilities of an elected Senator include (but are not limited to):
- Completing a minimum of four office hours per week
- Meeting with respective staff bi-weekly
- Being a part of at least one standing committees
- Being the voice for their appropriate constituents
We encourage students to reach out via email and/or visit us during our office hours. Your input and engagement are essential as we work together to shape a campus community where every voice matters and every effort counts!
